Creative Textile City Step Towards The City Of Competition

In December 7th, the seventeenth "China Cup", representing the highest level of clothing design in China, opened again in Keqiao.

Participants from all over the country show their exquisite performances in the fashion Hall of textile city.

This is the second entry of the Chinese cup.

Top events continue to fall in Keqiao.

The "China Cup" originated in Shanghai. It is the first national and international event to be held in the country. It has been successfully held for the 16 time and has been hailed as "the cradle of fashion designers" by the clothing industry and fashion media.

So far, a total of more than 40 countries and regions, including 198 countries, 357 cities and more than 30 thousand athletes in China, France, the United States and Japan have participated in the "China Cup".

Last year, the Shaoxing Association of textile and apparel designers first introduced the "China Cup" women's clothing, men's wear, children's wear, underwear beach wear and other competitions. These professional events not only brightened up the textile manufacturers in the city, but also brought a new style of design to the textile city.

Together with the "China Cup", there are also the Chinese professional fashion designer creative competition and China international textile fabric design competition, which have been held in Keqiao for 4 consecutive years, bringing a strong creative atmosphere to Keqiao.

Local competitions are blooming

Compared with the introduction of these top events, Keqiao local competitions began to grow and become famous.

Not long ago, the "Yue lung Cup" Third China University Textile (fabric) design competition awards ceremony was held in Keqiao, and 33 pieces of work were selected from 375 textile designs selected from 14 related universities.

The relevant experts expressed full recognition of the event. They thought the contestants were closely concerned about the industrial development and fully grasped the market trend. The works of the competition highlighted the characteristics of the new materials, new structures, new ideas and environmental protection, functionality and comfort.

In addition to the "Yue long Cup", our county science and Technology Bureau held the "Shaoxing County fabric and pattern original design competition" for two consecutive years. The relevant experts believe that the holding of these professional events has not only found more excellent "new seedlings" for enterprises in the innovative textile design, but also provided a feasible new trendy research concept and reference direction for the new product research of the enterprise.

"City of competition" usher in new development

Domestic and international professional events have been held frequently, so that people inside and outside the industry look up to Keqiao: spinning City is becoming the "city of competition".

The Shaoxing textile and garment designers association is one of the "China Cup" contractors.

In the view of Chen Qimiao, executive vice president of the association, the combination of competition and industrial base is on the one hand the need of the competition itself, and on the other hand, it opens up a good situation for the development of creative industries in our county.

"The textile industry in Shaoxing has always been the leading position in the whole country. Hosting the" China Cup "competition aims at integrating the creative elements into the traditional textile industry, promoting the integration of the fashion industry in the Yangtze River Delta, and promoting the development of the garment industry in the Yangtze River Delta region and even the whole country.

Competition should rely on industry to seek breakthroughs, and industries should also be promoted through competitions.
